Love this as a pre-teen I had Not my pasture not my cow pattie retro shirt who decided to tell me and another student that we were being moved from the advanced math class to a lower level. That classmate and I took it to heart and no one told us different and it changed our views of school for the remaining years. We started out near to the top and pretty much ended up towards the bottom. As an adult, I now know we should not have taken it. Indeed needed in our society. My son never bagged good grades and some of his teachers really tried to make him feel like crap especially maths and science teachers instead of helping they comment in beginning and now he is totally lost his interest in it. Unknown to them, my 13 years. The unfocused, distracted boy already started living in his own world. My Loving caring, well disciplined and the kind-hearted young man had given up. I hope people watch your post and gain strength to defend their kids.
