My favorite Deep Purple song. I have heard it covered several times and some have done well but no one can compare to his vocals. Black Sabbath may be my favorite band of all time but Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin were both close behind. Listening to this song always takes me to a cool place in my mind. Wow. Just got blown away once more by the incredible singing of Ian Gillan and Richie’s cool guitar work. Reminds me why I loved Deep Purple so much when I was a teenager.
